Screen every Florida business for sale before the first call

Main Street Diligence runs the arithmetic an acquisition analyst runs — owner earnings after a manager’s wage, leverage, debt service, break-even, hold-to-exit return, and the quality of the evidence behind the figures — across every active business-for-sale listing on the Business Brokers of Florida MLS, refreshed weekly. Free, no account needed. Not to tell you what to buy; so you arrive at the first conversation already knowing which three questions matter.

Main Street changes hands when a neighbour buys it. Most first-time buyers walk into that deal with the seller’s numbers and nobody on their side; this site runs the checks a professional would run, on every listing, for the buyer, before the sales cycle starts — so the careful can act and the confident get checked. Our mission, and the four commitments you can check.

The screener runs in your browser and needs JavaScript. What it does, in order: search on the filters no listing site offers (does the business still earn after paying a manager $75,000; could a lender fund it at the asking price; does the broker cite a tax return or P&L), shortlist, compare up to four side by side against the whole Florida inventory, underwrite the deal, then get a written review that names the gaps.

The numbers behind the screener, as readable pages:

Every figure on this site is seller-reported and unaudited; the checks test arithmetic, not truth. Florida only, by design. A Markdown copy of every page is at /llms.txt.
